Wai Kei Poon Psychologist
Wai Kei is a registered Psychologist in Melbourne and a registered Educational Psychologist in Hong Kong with extensive experience supporting children and adolescents in their learning, emotional well-being, and development.
Wai Kei specialises in cognitive, educational, and behavioural assessments and interventions, helping families and educators understand each child's unique strengths and challenges. With intensive Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) training, Wai Kei helps children manage anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, and behavioural challenges through evidence-based strategies.
In addition to his clinical work, Wai Kei has contributed to various consultancy and project-based initiatives in Hong Kong, supporting educational institutions and community programs in implementing evidence-based interventions.
Fluent in English and Cantonese, Wai Kei is passionate about delivering culturally responsive care, ensuring that families from diverse backgrounds receive the guidance and support they need. His approach is warm, evidence-based, and focused on empowering children to reach their full potential.
